Great Day at Sizewell

As I sat enjoying the beach, I noticed a curious juxtaposition unfolding. Had the ladies walked from the nuclear power station in their bathrobes and was this normal? It's not everyday a horse goes paddling in the sea, or is it? I made a careful dash into the sea up to my waist to capture the angle of this image, that could pass very soon.

Protection

What a good idea to put up a windbreak and cast a bit of shade. Is that someone with a strange shaped head behind it? No, but of course not.

But not much use if it goes 'pop' is it !

Rocket Fuel

The cyclist leant his bike on the fire beacon. A perfect juxtaposition of nuclear power in the distance, a fire beacon, and natural energy of the bicycle. The three combined in one image. I had to act quickly else this images moment would pass.

Energy

Why the fire in the sky? This autumnal evenings sky, captures the clouds painted with the heat of the sun's setting light. It reminds us of natures endless powerful energy, and here, juxtaposed with the electricity pilons. Were always in the midst of nature and the man made.

Sun Trap

I wasn't sure what this man was up to! He looks like he came prepared, but for what? It was a very hot day and if he was creating shade for himself, why is he sitting outside of it. Maybe he likes to become cooked. In which case this could be exactly the right place to sit.

Energy Saving

A good idea for us at all times, and animals are great at reminding us of this. But no, thats not a special hat for a dog!

The Catch

A giant ball or a yoga celebration?

Out for the count

The gentle sound of snoring permeated the air, while the wide awake dog kept guard.

Five, four, three, two, one, lift off........

or not..

Hopefully.

Take a leap

In to the choppy Sizewell seas went the horse, fearless of the future.
